Architectura & Natura, a bookshop specializing in both architecture and nature, started business in oktober 1939. Alma van Zaane, daughter of the founder, tells the story of the first years that started with the distribution of a selection of architectural magazines among architects, as well as the first publishing activities. After that historian and regular customer Koen Kleijn discusses the successive owners and their peculiarities.

In the second film current owner Gaston Bekkers introduces the shop as it is now, architects and bookjunkies Felix Claus and Marc Koehler and birdwatcher Jan Hinloopen discuss the significance of books for their practice and express their love for this extraordinary shop.
