Is participatie een zegen of een zorg? (Het antwoord op deze vraag wordt mogelijk op dit moment beïnvloed door uw stemgedrag van gisteren.) Onder leiding van Reinier de Graaf wordt in de masterclass With the Masses – Architecture and Participation, op The Berlage, de vaak moeizame relatie tussen participatie en architectuur verkent.
De komende dagen wordt doorgedacht op de stellingen:
- Architecture should welcome participatory design
- Architect’s main purpose is the satisfaction of its users
- Participatory design will help create human scale
- Participatory design should not be the subject of any form of aesthetic control
- New IT technologies will make participatory design inevitable
