Landschapsarchitect

Ben jij een creatieve ontwerper en wil je deel uitmaken van een jong, groeiend, dynamisch en ambitieus ontwerpteam? VOIDS strategy, urbanism & landscape is op zoek naar een landschapsarchitect met affiniteit voor buitenruimte ontwerp. De integratie van klimaatoplossingen is essentieel in elk plan, van concept tot realisatie. Daarom is een strategische visie op de openbare ruimte cruciaal binnen onze projecten.

In deze veelzijdige functie werk je aan een diversiteit aan spraakmakende projecten in Nederland, België en Noorwegen waarbij de focus ligt op inrichting van de openbare ruimte in stedelijke omgeving, maar ook ruimte is voor projecten en onderzoeken rondom grootschalige landschapstransformaties. Je bent in staat een interdisciplinair team van ontwerpers te inspireren door ontwerpvaardigheden en technische kennis in te brengen. Je bent in staat om met ons het ontwerpproces te structureren en op een prettige manier te communiceren met het team, opdrachtgevers en partners.

Over VOIDS

VOIDS is een jong interdisciplinair bureau. Omdat de grote maatschappelijke opgaven waar wij met zijn allen voor staan vragen om een radicaal andere aanpak combineren wij de disciplines strategie, stedenbouw en landschapsarchitectuur in onze plannen. In de projecten die we doen werken we nauw met elkaar samen. We hechten veel waarde aan de informele werksfeer en er is veel vrijheid om (samen met ons) te bouwen aan een groeiend portfolio van spraakmakende projecten in binnen en buitenland: in 2022 wonnen we de Europan, in 2023 staan we in de finale van de EO Wijersprijsvraag en recent hebben we een aantal interessante tenders voor buitenruimte projecten gewonnen.

Jouw profiel
Wij zoeken iemand met:

• Hands-on mentaliteit en leergierig
• Een professionele opleiding Landschapsarchitectuur (WUR, TU, Academie van Bouwkunst, Hall Larenstein of vergelijkbaar)
• Minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring als landschapsarchitect (bij voorkeur in de Nederlandse context)
• Affiniteit met buitenruimte ontwerp en beplantingsplannen (SO, VO en begeleiding DO)
• Sterke conceptuele en grafische vaardigheden
• Goede beheersing van Vectorworks en Adobe Suite
• Beheersing van de Nederlandse en/of Engelse taal (spreken + schrijven).

Are you a creative designer and do you want to be part of a young, growing, dynamic and ambitious design team? VOIDS strategy, urbanism & landscape is looking for a landscape architect with an affinity for design of public space. The integration of climate solutions is essential in every plan, from concept to realization. That is why a strategic vision of public space is crucial within our projects.

In this position you will be working on a diversity of projects in the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway with a focus on the design of public space in an urban environment, but you also get involved in projects and research around big landscape transformations. You are able to inspire an interdisciplinary team of designers by bringing design skills and technical knowledge. You are able to structure the design process with us and communicate in a pleasant way with the team, clients and partners.

About VOIDS

VOIDS is a young interdisciplinary agency. Because the major social challenges we all face require a radically different approach, we combine the disciplines of strategy, urban design and landscape architecture in our plans. We work closely together in the projects we do. We add a lot of value to the growing working atmosphere and there is a lot of freedom to build (together with us) on a growing portfolio of projects: in 2022 we won the Europan, in 2023 we will be in the final of the EO Wijers competition and we recently won a number of interest tenders for public space projects.

Your profile

We are looking for someone to meet:

• Hands-on mentality and eager to learn
• A professional education in Landscape Architecture
• At least 3 years of work experience as a landscape architect (preferably in the Dutch context)
• Affinity with outdoor space design and planting plans (SO, VO and guidance DO)
• Strong conceptual skills
• Good command of Vectorworks and Adobe Suite
• Command of the Dutch and/or English language (speaking + writing).
