Architect

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, Architect with 4 – 5 years experience to join our team in Rotterdam.

You may be the right candidate if you have previously contributed in the production and coordination of medium scale housing projects from design concept through completion of construction. You are able to analyze and design housing typologies and are familiar with developing a housing facade designs while taking into account technical, construction, aesthetic and commercial aspects. You have experience leading on housing projects and can work independently.

Requirements for this position include:

• A Masters degree in Architecture;
• 4 to 5 years of proven project experience;
• Ability to analyze and work with working documents;
• Ability to think critically and communicate clearly;
• Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated;
• Strong Archicad, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite skills;
• Ability to test options quickly in 3d and in 2d;
• Intermediate knowledge of construction materials, finishes and details;
• Strong problem solving capabilities, prioritization, organization, and follow through;
• Agility and flexibility – must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks;
• Permitted to work in the Netherlands;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Availability to begin to work on a full-time basis;
• A desire to work in a small team.
