AAArchitects is een ambitieus en groeiend architectenbureau. We werken aan uiteenlopende nieuwbouw- en renovatieprojecten voor nationale en internationale opdrachtgevers. Binnen ons bureau hanteren we een integrale ontwerpaanpak, waarbij architectuur, installaties, interieur & meubilair en landschap naadloos op elkaar aansluiten. We werken nauw samen met uitvoerende partijen, waarbij goede communicatie en samenwerking essentieel zijn.
Ter versterking van ons team zoeken wij een junior architect/ontwerper met bouwkundige kennis en een sterke affiniteit met ontwerp en techniek.

De functie:
Je ondersteunt het ontwerpteam in alle fasen van het project — van concept tot technische uitwerking. Je werkt aan plattegronden, presentaties en details, en overlegt regelmatig met collega’s en adviseurs. Je kunt je ontwerpkeuzes goed onderbouwen en presenteren, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
De functie vraagt zelfstandigheid, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en een gestructureerde manier van werken. Je neemt actief deel aan teamoverleg, klantgesprekken en (indien nodig) overleggen met gemeenten.

Wat we vragen:
– Afgeronde opleiding bouwkunde of architectuur op HBO- of WO-niveau.
– 0–2 jaar werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
– Ervaring met AutoCAD, Adobe Suite en MS Office.
– Goede kennis van materialen.
– Vermogen om creatieve, niet-standaard details te maken die technisch haalbaar zijn, of de ambitie om dit te leren.
– Sterk ruimtelijk inzicht en gevoel voor esthetiek.
– Creatief, nauwkeurig, gedreven en open-minded.
– Goede beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels in woord en geschrift.
– Woonachtig in (de omgeving van) Den Haag.

AAArchitects is looking for a passionate and talented junior architect/designer to join our team.

AAArchitects is a growing architecture firm with high ambitions. We work on new construction and renovation projects for both national and international clients. Our approach is fully integrated, we design and coordinate buildings, installations, interiors & furniture, and landscapes in-house. We closely collaborate with contractors, requiring frequent and effective communication.

We are looking for a junior architect/designer with a solid understanding of construction and a strong passion for design and detail.

The role:
You’ll support the design team across all project phases, from concept to technical development. You’ll work on drawings, presentations, and detailing in close consultation with colleagues and consultants. You are able to present and explain your design decisions clearly in both English and Dutch.

This position requires responsibility, structure, and a proactive attitude. You will participate in team meetings, client presentations, and when needed discussions with local authorities.

What we’re looking for:
– Degree in architecture or building technology (HBO or MSc level).
– 0–2 years of experience in a similar role.
– Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and MS Office.
– Solid knowledge of materials.
– Ability to create innovative and technically feasible details — or the drive to learn.
– Excellent spatial awareness and a strong sense of aesthetics.
– Creative, precise, driven, and open-minded.
– Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a strong plus.
– Based in or around The Hague.
